My love for beauty began long before I ever picked up a makeup brush professionally. Some of my earliest memories are of playing with my mother’s Mary Kay samples, watching recordings of her beauty parties on VHS, and sitting beside her while she viewed training videos. I admired her modeling photos and the magazines she was featured in, seeing firsthand how beauty could be expressed in so many different ways.

When Avon catalogs became a staple in our family, I would save my chore money and eagerly borrow my aunt’s catalogs, circling all the products I dreamed of owning one day. Those small moments sparked a lifelong fascination with beauty, creativity, and self-expression.

As I grew older, my passion expanded beyond makeup into art as a whole. I became fascinated by color theory, symmetry, and working with different creative mediums. Painting was one of my favorite outlets, and after graduating, I began exploring how I could turn my artistic interests into a career. I spent countless hours learning from industry pioneers on YouTube, building my makeup collection, and practicing techniques in front of the mirror.

Around 2014–2015, friends and family began asking for help with prom makeup, school dances, and creative photoshoots. What started as a passion quickly grew into something much more meaningful. I am incredibly grateful to every person who trusted me, referred me, and allowed me to be part of their special moments. Helping others feel confident, beautiful, and celebrated has been one of the greatest rewards of this journey.

Today, I am a mother of four, and one of my greatest joys is seeing how inspired my children are by my work. Hearing my daughters proudly tell their friends, “My mom is a makeup artist,” reminds me why I love what I do. I hope to show them—and every client I work with—that beauty is about so much more than makeup alone.

True beauty is found in creativity, confidence, self-expression, and the ability to embrace yourself exactly as you are. Makeup simply serves as a tool to enhance those qualities and help people see the beauty that already exists within them.

My commitment to learning and growth continues every day. In an ever-evolving industry, I believe education is essential. I have completed certification through QC Makeup Academy, invested in advanced training through MasterClass programs taught by leading artists, and continually seek opportunities to refine my skills and stay current with emerging trends and techniques. I am also certified by the State of Ohio to provide services within licensed beauty salons.
